Maurice Rayfield Cann was born on September 4,1979 to the parentage of Wallace Cann Jr. and Rosa Carter Fountain. He departed this life on March 7,2016 at his residence in Gonzales, La. He was 36 years old. Maurice leaves to cherish his precious memories, his mother, Rosa Carter Fountain of Gonzales, La., one daughter, Tysha Cann of Prairieville, La; two brothers, Johnny (Coretta) Fountain and Dennis Hamilton both of Baton Rouge, La; one spiritual mother and sister, Joycelyn Bibbs and Arnjel Bibbs of Prairieville, La, four Aunts, Beatrice Kinchen, Rosa-Mary Cann (Ellite) Twine, Bertha Hamilton Stevenson and Susan Cann; two Uncles James Brown Carter and John Lee Carter and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. He was preceded in death by his ex-wife, Teisha Stewart Cann, father, Wallace Cann Jr.; grandmother, Leola Carter, and aunts, uncles and relatives.
